a a a a a a a a a OBITUARIES October 2, 2006 Casper Star-Tribune B3 Jody 'Joe' Samuel Lundervold Denny L. Gering BILLINGS, Mont. Graveside services for Jody "Joe" Samuel Lundervold, 46, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, in Mountview Cemetery, He died suddenly Tuesday, Sept.
26, 2006, at his home in Casper. He was born Nov. 23, 1959, in Billings, the son of Samuel and Helen Lois Lundervold. He graduated from Central High School in Billings and attended college there. In his younger years he was active in many 4-H events and loved racing and jumping his motorcycle.
He raced for Yamaha and Suzuki in his teen years, including, racing the Baha in California. He was also active in the rodeo circuit for several years riding bulls. In 1980 he met Debbie Lucero in Billings. They married and to this union, the light of his life, daughter Samantha "Sam" was born. The couple later divorced.
He had driven trucks for Cal Gas Propane, JE Williams and Corcoran Trucking, all of Billings. He had worked for the U.S. Government and owned his own landscaping and contracting business in Billings. He also worked two years for All Alaskan Seafood, fishing the Bering Straights. In 1992 he met Norma Walker DeGarland in Billings.
They were together until his death and LUNDERVOLD shared many happy times LUNDERVOLD fishing, enjoying life and just being together. He loved fishing, hunting and watching the NASCAR races. He was an avid Jeff Gordon fan. Some of his many hobbies included drawing, collecting ducks and doing woodwork. Failing heath prevented him from using his fishing boat this summer, but he wanted to continue his birthday tradition of going fishing.
Survivors include his loving companion for the last 14 years, Norma DeGarland; his daughter, Sam Farr of Newport Beach, sister, Connie Groscop and her husband; and his nephew, Glen Metcalf, all of Billings. He was preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandfather, and sister, Sandy Metcalf. Arrangements are under the direction of MichelottiSawyers Mortuary of Billings. Florence Bertha Wolf Wolf her life to serving others. She also loved reading and studying her Bible and had a special love for WOLF cats, especially Calicos.
Survivors include her son, Dennis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Charles Wolf. She was the president of the California State MARTIN Employees Union until her retirement. Survivors include her two daughters of Casper, Karen Williams and Susan Wagner; her son Bud Searcy, of Fresno, and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in May. He died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, at his home. He was born Dec. 26, 1943, in Casper, the son of Leo W.
and Ester (Graves) Gering. He graduated from Natrona County High School then joined the U.S. Army. He served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in September of 1972. He returned to Wyoming and worked for oil field sales and service companies until 1996.

He died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006, in Cheyenne. He was born Sept. 25, 1925, in Spearman, Texas, the son of J. Paul and Allene (Pokie) McMurry Morgan.
He was raised in Texas and Colorado, attending schools in both states. He graduated from Jackson County High School in Walden, Colo. Upon graduating he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in the American, Central American, and Pacific Theaters during World War II. His last duty station was on the island of Tinian.
On Nov. 28, 1947, he married Johnna May Ronzo in Mullen, Neb. They moved to Casper in He was a life member of the VFW in Casper. He loved to play baseball and, as a boy, was a star little. leaguer for GERING the Indians.
He also en- GERING joyed following the Denver Broncos and NASCAR, and spent time golfing, fishing and camping. Survivors include one daughter, Angie Hinker and her husband; one son, Steve Gering and his wife, all of Rapid City; a sister, Glenda Sanfoni of Casper; five grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard; one brother, Dewain; and his parents. He was a retired Methodist minister. He was educated at Nebraska Wesleyan University and the Iliff School of Theology. He served in parishes in Paoli-Wages, Brush, Sterling, Cortez, and Salida, Colo. He was also pastor at churches in Newcastle, Rawlins, and Casper. His interests included hunting, playing golf, gardening, refinishing antique furniture, attending Wyoming Cowboy football games, and spending time with his wife and family.
Survivors include his wife, Johnna of Cheyenne; four sons, Terry of Laramie, John of Katy, Texas, and Max and Ken of Cheyenne; four grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren. Memorials may be made to UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief), the Hospice of Central Wyoming or a charity of the donor's choice. Jeanene Edden Sanford BUFFALO Private graveside services for Jeanene Edden Sanford, 68, will be held by her family at a later date. She died Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, at her home in Buffalo.
She was born June 5, 1938, in Butte, the daughter of Ransom and Elsie Edden. She was raised and educated in Butte. In 1952 she married Paul Regan in Butte, where the couple made their home. They were later divorced and she moved to Colorado where she worked construction. In the late 1970s, she moved to Douglas, where she continued working construction.
She was married to Mr. Sanford in the early 1980s and they lived in Douglas for a short time. In 2002 she moved TOWN CRIER World," and her project for the year is providing "special items for our VA hospitals in Cheyenne and Sheridan and the Wyoming Veterans Home in Buffalo." Unlike the film, A Brilliant Mind, a fictionalized account of the life of John Nash, Nobel prize winner who also suffered from schizophrenia, Out of the Shadow is a 67 minute documentary made about an ordinary woman. At age 21, Millie Smiley was bright, beautiful, and newlymarried with an infant daughter. Shortly thereafter, she attempted suicide. She was born Sept. 10, 1915, in Gebo to Alphonse and Josephine (LeRoy) Latinis and married George Race June 16, 1935, in Lander. She was active in the community affairs in both the Hudson and Superior. She cooked at schools in both locations and was instrumental in bringing a hot meal program to the Hudson School. She was president of the Superior PTA; served on the Hudson School Board; was a 4-H leader and a member of the Hudson Homecrafters.

She died Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, at Riverton Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 28, 1915, in Windsor, the daughter of Fred Weinmaster and Katie (Hardt) Weinmaster. At the age of 10 she moved with her parents to Wyoming, where she was raised on a farm and later married farmer.
On Jan. 14, 1934, she married Arthur Rohn in Mitchell, Neb. and the couple homesteaded in the Pavilion area in 1937. He died in 1973 and she moved to Riverton where she remained for 10 years, five of which were spent working at the Riverton Senior Center. She moved to Casa Grande, Ariz.
for 17 years, returning to Riverton in 2000. She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm. She enjoyed her family, growing flowers, sewing, knitting, ness Church since 1986. For 20 years, she worked at the Lander hospital where doctors and nurses remember her not only as a valued employee and colleague, but for her generous sharing of knowledge and experience, kindness and love, and concerned care for others. Following retirement, she spent many years enjoying work in her flower beds, hosting large family dinners, traveling, camping, fishing, hunting and spending many happy hours together with family, friends, and her beloved husband of 57 years.
She is survived by her daughter Jeanette Seilaff and her husband of Hudson; her son James and his wife of Glenrock; her son George and his wife of Riverton; son Marcel and wife, also of Hudson; 11 grandchildren, 27 great -grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded death by her husband, her parents, six brothers, two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was born in Trenton, Nov. 10, 1926, to Elva Jean Hunter and Matt Dockery. She was raised and went to school in Trenton. In February of 1941, she married Harvey Elmer Searcy in Trenton and moved to Casper in 1956. She loved dancing, bowling and playing cards.
After her husband's death in 1962, she married Robert H. Martin and moved her family to Bakersfield, Calif. where she worked for the Today's Events Fun stuff to do today. She was a life-long member of the Lutheran Church and active in ROHN the Lutheran Women's Missionary League where she held all offices.
