After retiring from Evanston Hospital, Mrs. Grier spent three years as head of Northwestern University Health Service. Before joining Evanston Hospital, Mrs. Grier spent years with the Army Nurse Corps during World War II, serving in Australia and Europe. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia M.
