Thanks! This is an impressive record this season for a team so young. It can only get better GT Offense still leading nation in some Stats (2)

What the...I thought they were one of the youngest. Wow.

I'm not really sure what i'm looking at, or how this could work. Maybe I grabbed one with the wrong dates?

The most experienced teams when using the old chart were usually the service academies which play a lot of seniors and juniors. Using the old method (which is listed below) the top 5 most experienced teams in terms of upperclassmen in the two deep are: 1. Air Force 2. Navy 3. Arkansas St 4. Temple and 5. Utah St. Purdue and Northwestern rank the highest among BCS teams coming in at #7.
The least experienced teams using this method are: 120. Auburn 119. Georgia Tech 118. Boston College and 117. Washington. The next paragraph is an explanation of how the chart works and below that is the old version of the Experience Chart.

The chart on this page has them at #114. I'm not sure which one is correct or better or what.

I guess there's two charts, the one I just linked is a comparison of the whole roster, which is only 20% of the combined chart. The combined chart includes returning yardage, tackles, and OL starts as well, so it's a fairer look at how young a team REALLY is. Looks like everyone's just quoting this first chart though.

Note that Clemson is #36 on that chart... not quite as "young" as they want everybody to believe.

I noticed that in the program. Their ol and dl was loaded with seniors and grad students. Even boyd is a rs sophom*ore, which means he is on his 3 rd year.

If you call a team 'young' you should be talking about the 2-deep. If you are talking about the entire roster, then all teams should be within a fairly narrow range since everybody gets 25x5=85 scholarships. If you have a lot of attrition and your young guys have to play, that's what I call young. If you have 50 Fr & R-Fr instead of 45 riding the bench, BFD.

Did he seriously just rank all the football teams by Experience Points?

XP for the win! Is he a GT grad? Or just a level 80 something? GT Offense still leading nation in some Stats (10)

Not really a fair stat, since they played nine games or less until the 1930's. Alexander's teams went 8-1,8-1,7-2, and 3-2-4 his first four seasons (1920-1923).

yeah I didn't like that one either. It was also random with "3 out of 4".

Basically the dude is doing good.

He only won with Heisman's recruits.
